I went to visit my dad's grave recently. The clouds were big and beautiful, just the type of day I love. I didn't want to leave.

A Beach in Malibu

It's been a tough November. I took myself out to the beach, hoping it would fix something. The cold Pacific waters were welcoming, and I lost myself in the sensation of sand, sun, and sea. However, I was in between two different couples having their beach date and I was so mad. Get a room!

The Late Night Ice Cream Spot

I just love the lush, vintage interior of 626 Ice Cream. I don't go very often since it's a bit of a drive and there are usually long lines, but on the rare occasions I've been, I could totally understand the popularity of this spot.

View From The Office

I used to work somewhere that gave me a view of Pershing Square in DTLA. I no longer work there, and I miss the bustle of the city sometimes, but I'm more content nowadays.

Maryland

From my trip to Maryland in 2021. It was so verdant and humid! I'd never been somewhere like that before.

View From My Old Apartment

What I wouldn't give to go back to college! I was so lucky to get to live only 5 minutes away from the beach, and I didn't even fully appreciate it. That's just the nature of being human though, I don't believe I've ever fully appreciated what I had before I didn't have it anymore. Not to say that I don't practice gratitude, but just that I try not to live worried about losing what I've got.
